The right clothing choices can make or break having great images. It is so important that you choose clothes that look, fit and feel great. Use the following as a guideline for what to wear and what not to wear.
WHAT TO WEAR...
The clothes that are most flattering are form fitting with sleeves. Feel free to bring what you like.. but bring some of this type.
Bring a variety of clothing choices that you feel GOOD in.
Solid colors are always a great choice. Smaller patterns are fine too. Neutrals, soft colors, darker tones and earthy colors work the best. However color can be pretty and youthful, so don't be afraid to bring some color as well.
I love accessories too! Hats, scarves, jewelry, flowers. Get creative and make these really personal. Accessories really make an outfit look polished.
Let's talk undergarments! Make SURE you bring appropriate underthingys for each outfit. Try on your outfits before your session.
Remember you will also have access to Annie Marie's style closet for a more dressed up glamorous look.
Here are some more suggestions for a couple different styles:
CLASSIC BEAUTY
If you want just classic beauty shots, solids are best. Blushes, creams, neutrals. Soft tones and Black is the best that won't distract from you. A pretty sweater paired with sexy jeans or a classic dress are great options.
SEXYLICIOUS
This is more of a sexy or boudoir theme if you want to add this into your session. The sky's the limit as to what you wear for this one (or NOT wear). Sexy bras & panties, teddies, loves ones shirt, tank, heels, pearl's or just wrapped in a soft fabric. Whatever you feel beautiful in.
WHAT NOT TO WEAR...
No matter what your shape... thin or curvy... fitted clothes are the best... so try to avoid baggy clothes. They will not flatter your figure. Annie knows how to pose to flatter you the best.
Please do NOT bring clothes with contrasty or large patterns. They are very distracting and not classic.
Unless you have very tones arms and want to show them off... it is advised to bring tops and dresses with sleeves. Upper arms exposed can distract from the face.
